Eb-5 Investment

For business investors, there are several options for immigration to the United States.  Please review the basic requirements listed below if you are considering this route.   Our office has successfully guided many clients through this process.  We also speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and English to ensure effortless communication with our clients. Please contact us to discuss these investment options with our immigration  attorneys.

If you want to  actively  invest in an enterprise  in the United States or if you wish to join an existing investment project, you may be eligible for an Eb-5 Investment Green Card.  This option allows an investor to immigrate to the U.S., along with a spouse and/or unmarried children. The EB-5 category requires an investment of US$500,000 to US$1,000,000 in a new commercial enterprise.  Additionally, the investment must produce at least ten full-time jobs within a two-year period. Upon approval of the EB-5 petition, the investor is issued a conditional Green Card valid for  two years. Investor must file to remove the condition at the end of the two-year period by showing fulfillment of the job creation requirement in order to become a legal permanent resident.

Eb-5 Regional Center Investment

For those who do not want to be  actively involved in the daily operations of an enterprise, there is another investment option.  There are specific EB-5 investment opportunities set aside at USCIS designated  Regional Centers aimed at promoting economic growth.  You can  choose from a list of pre-approved investment projects and invest your money into these pre-existing projects.  These projects are called Regional Center Investments.  Investors in a Regional Center project have an ownership interest in the investment, but do not need to deal with the day-to-day management of the project.  Additionally, Regional Center investors can qualify based on proof of indirect  job creation that  relies on industry job multiplier statistics.
